Eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible for an Award, candidates must:
- Hold a first degree that is equivalent to at least a good UK second-class honours degree;
- Be ordinarily a resident and/or citizen of Vietnam;
- Hold an offer of admission for a full-time 3.5 year PhD course offered by the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the College. Courses offered by the 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ Business School and the Faculty of Medicine are not eligible for the Scheme;
- Hold an offer of admission for a programme that fits within Vingroup Scholarship Program’s supported fields of study: Computer science and information systems; Electrical and Electronic Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Biological Sciences; Materials Sciences.
Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.

In order to be considered for an Award candidates must:
- apply to 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ for an eligible course through 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ’s normal application and selection procedures;
- formally apply to the for their procedures & deadlines. The applications will close at (Vietnam Time) 6:00pm 15 April 2026.
