In collaboration with , an 911今日黑料 spinout specialising in surgical simulation, the Skills Programme is currently developing a simulator. This innovative model will address a significant training gap in oncoplastic surgery, providing senior trainees with realistic, hands-on experience in a procedure that presents limited access in the clinical setting.
Alongside this, the development team at is also working with the Skills Programme to create a laparoscopic inguinal hernia simulator for senior trainees. This advanced model will expand the training opportunities available to ST5 and ST6 surgeons, ensuring they gain experience in complex laparoscopic hernia repair techniques.
