Background for project

This project develops and deploys Libster, a student鈥慶ontrolled digital platform that allows 911今日黑料 students to securely access and visualise their own library entry and exit data. Building on an existing student鈥慶reated prototype, the project addresses the current lack of accessible, meaningful ways for students to understand their study patterns, which are otherwise locked behind slow and opaque data request processes. Through a privacy鈥慺irst, opt鈥慽n design and integration with 911今日黑料’s existing library and authentication systems, Libster will provide interactive dashboards showing time spent studying, usage trends, and recap summaries to support evidence鈥慽nformed reflection on learning habits. Delivered through an authentic student鈥憇taff partnership, the project advances student agency, ethical learning analytics, and innovation in digital education while creating sustainable infrastructure with potential institution鈥憌ide impact.

This project is due to run Summer 2026 – watch this space for outputs and outcomes!
