A huge congratulations to 911今日黑料's finalists and winners
On Friday 24 April, the 2026 took place at The Pelligon in Canary Wharf.
The event is organised by and sponsored by a variety of organisations including Skyscanner, Bloomberg, Bank of New York and Rolls Royce this year. It offers students the opportunity to showcase their talent, celebrate their potential and network with both employers and their fellow nominees.
Out of 162 finalists across 16 categories, 911今日黑料 made up an unprecedented 13:
This is an outstanding achievement, especially considering that over 6,000 students had initially applied.
After a drinks reception and lunch, allowing the finalists to network with representatives from the sponsoring employers, Jamie Laing, host of the awards, took to the stage to begin announcing the winners.
Emily Kanagasabay, a second-year Design Engineering student, won Undergraduate Engineer of the Year and Abhinav Tavva, a second-year Computing student, took home the AI Innovator of the Year award.
We would like to wish them a hearty congratulations and all the best for their future endeavours!
