IMSE invests in and enables multidisciplinary research across 911今日黑料鈥檚 four faculties. All our projects are led by at least two principal investigators in different 911今日黑料 departments. So far we have:
 
  • Supported more than 60 pump-prime research projects across 19 departments,
  • Generated 9 briefing papers,
  • Trained nearly 50 Master’s students through cross-disciplinary projects in collaboration with industrial partners.

These projects foster productive new collaborations at the molecular science/engineering interface that are aligned with IMSE鈥檚 research themes.

Although our direct spend is small, the researchers we support have so far attracted more than 16x the initial investment in follow-on funding from our industrial partners, the , and the .
