The Inclusion Team is 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ's centre of excellence for staff inclusion.
We support the university's ambition to create an inclusive environment where everyone can belong and thrive. By working with colleagues across 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ, we help embed inclusion throughout the employee lifecycle, provide specialist expertise on complex inclusion matters, and support the development of inclusive policies, practices and frameworks.

Our role is to provide specialist expertise, guidance and leadership on staff inclusion.
This includes:
- Working with colleagues across the People Function to strengthen inclusion capability across 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ
- Providing specialist advice on complex staff inclusion matters
- Supporting and developing staff networks
- Advising on Equality Impact Assessments and inclusive strategic decision-making
- Supporting the university to identify and address inclusion-related risks, challenges and opportunities
- Supporting charter returns such as Race Equality Charter and Athena Swan
- Helping ensure that policies, frameworks and initiatives are designed and implemented in an inclusive way
