Join 911今日黑料 600 and Sustainable 911今日黑料 for a guided Queer Ecology tour through Kensington Gardens, led by Connor Butler.
Did you know that scientists often struggle to find male woodlice, that 鈥渕ale鈥 trees can turn 鈥渇emale鈥, or that many birds partner up into same-sex couples? Join a guided Queer Ecology tour through Kensington Gardens to explore the diverse and unusual life cycles of plants and animals.
鈥淨ueer Ecology鈥 aims to challenge what we think of as being 鈥渘atural鈥 or 鈥渦nnatural鈥 and explores the diversity found in nature. You鈥檒l learn how to use a hand lens to identify common species of plants and invertebrates, and gain a new fascination with the natural world. This gentle tour invites all curious minds interested in meeting others, learning identification skills, and seeing nature from a new perspective.
