Employer Events
The Careers Service runs a comprehensive range of events throughout the academic year, with the majority taking place in the autumn and spring terms, in-line with graduate recruitment schedules. We are always adding new events, but for an overview of what we do.
Careers Service Coronavirus update
The Careers Service continues to provide ongoing support to our community during the current Coronavirus situation. Our priority is to the safety and wellbeing of our staff, students and visitors. As such we have withdrawn campus-based teaching activities in line with College advice and replaced these with online appointments, presentations and events. Please see the Careers Service response to the Coronavirus.
Currently all appointments and most events are conducted online via Microsoft Teams (Office 365) in response to the COVID-19 situation. See information on how to access Office 365.
Please note that we adhere to the

Careers Fairs
Due to the current situation relating to COVID-19 in the UK, we have cancelled all on-campus careers events. We are endeavouring to run events online, where possible and practical to do so.
Please see the
Careers Forums
The Careers Forums are an excellent opportunity to find out more about roles in a particular sector, and a chance to network with professionals in that industry. Each forum has six professionals from the given sector, providing an insight into their experiences in different areas of work through short presentations, followed by a Question and Answer session and networking.
Forums take place on Thursdays during the autumn, spring and summer terms, 18:30 - 21:00
Employer webinars / presentations
Employer Webinars
Employers are increasingly delivering their employer and recruitment presentations via online webinars and therefore we have pulled together all of these webinars for your information. These can provide you with a good reminder of what happened, if you attended. If you were unable to attend this is a good way to find out more about a wide range of organisations that you may be interested in applying to.
Employer Presentations
A significant number of employers make presentations on and off campus during the autumn term. Employers use presentations to inform you about their businesses and the range of opportunities available. Presentations provide a useful insight into the type of people and culture of an organisation and offer the chance to network with recent recruits and discuss their experiences.

Mock Interviews
During the academic cycle, some recruiters will arrange a series of mock interview sessions. These offer you the chance to practice your interview technique with a trained interviewer in the sector you are looking to enter.
Search JobsLive and book for mock interview sessions.
Recruiter in Residence
Recruiter in Residence sessions offer you the opportunity to talk to graduate recruiters about the opportunities available in their organisations. The employers will offer a range of opportunities within their companies, so all students are welcome at these sessions.
