Their anodes for sodium-ion batteries enable sovereign supply chains, market-leading performances and reduced environmental impacts.
With support from the Faraday Institution, Ayrton fund and Innovate UK, the team is building a TRL6 demonstrator, partnering with bio-waste producers to reduce costs, validating performance with battery manufacturers and engineering reactors to reduce the cost and environmental impact of anode manufacturing.
