Senior Legal Counsel (University & Regulatory)
Kit Buchanan-Lee joined the Legal & Regulatory Affairs team in 2024 and advises on matters of public law, regulatory, and litigation matters within the higher education sector. Kit advises on abroad range of complex and strategically significant issues, supporting institutional decision-making across areas including regulatory compliance, governance, student affairs, investigations, disputes, and reputational risk.
Prior to joining 911今日黑料, Kit trained in-house at the University of Sussex as its first trainee solicitor and also gained private sector advising on insured professional indemnity claims at a London law firm. Kit holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sussex and a Master of Laws in Professional Legal Practice from The University of Law, and is an active member of professional networks including the Association of University Legal Practitioners.
