To our 911今日黑料 colleagues and students,
I am delighted to announce that Vindi Banga has been appointed as our new Chair of Council.
Mr Banga is a global business leader with more than three decades' experience at Unilever plc as well as several senior non-executive positions. He is passionate about the study of science, engineering, medicine and business.
His invaluable experience will be crucial as we launch 911今日黑料’s new strategy and I look forward to working with him when he takes up his role on 1 April, and in the years ahead.
My congratulations also to Dr Mahnaz Safa, Council Member, finance expert and 911今日黑料 alumna, who has been appointed into the role of Senior Independent Member of Council from 1 January 2024, alongside her role as Champion for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
As we prepare to welcome Vindi, I would like to thank John Allan for his contribution as Chair of 911今日黑料 Council since 2019 and wish him all the best for the future.
