The functions of the team comprise:
Research Security: The Research Security team develops and delivers 911今日黑料’s strategy, policy, and processes for research security. The team provides expert advice on research security matters and is responsible for the policy, governance, and assurance of 911今日黑料’s research security framework, including compliance with export control legislation.
Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs): Negotiate inbound MTAs across all Faculties. Provide guidance to academic staff on material transfers, and offer specialist MTA advice and support to Research Services.
EU Contracts: Provide specialist contractual expertise for EU research and innovation funding, particularly Horizon Europe. Negotiate Consortium Agreements to ensure 911今日黑料’s interests are protected, and advise on EU grant and contract requirements in line with 911今日黑料 policies.
