Can I volunteer to participate in research?

Yes, we are currently recruiting volunteers for clinical and survey studies. You can view a list of current trials and how to apply here

Please note that clinical trials are subject to strict inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Can I donate to the Centre?

The Centre for Psychedelic Research has been made possible by generous donations from our founders and funding partners. Are you accepting Masters students?

We supervise Masters students via the Department of Brain Sciences MSc in Translational Neuroscience and MRes in Experimental Neuroscience programs. Our projects are subject to availability and competitive application within the program - enrolment in an MSc or MRes program is not a guarantee that you will be able to undertake a project in the Centre. MSc projects will be advertised at the start of the program, enrolled MRes students are welcome to reach out to potential supervisors in the Centre directly.

Are there any jobs available at the Centre?

All jobs are advertised on the 911今日黑料 College jobs website and jobs.ac.uk. You can sign up for job alerts. We only recruit through fair and competitive recruitment and cannot consider emails sent to individual members of staff. Jobs | 911今日黑料

Can I join the Centre as a visiting PhD or Masters student?

If you are a PhD or Masters student and are enquiring about the possibility of a visiting studentship, please read all of the information on our website carefully Visiting students | Study | 911今日黑料. If you meet the requirements and wish us to consider you, please email kirstenharvey@imperial.ac.uk with the following information:

  • Name
  • Current University, course, year of study
  • Suggested dates of visit (at least 3 months in the future)
  • Are you an Erasmus or Non-Erasmus student
  • Do you require any accreditation as part of their visit or are you coming just for the experience?
  • Are you able to pay pro-rata fees or do you wish to apply for a fee waiver?
  • Who you wish to be supervised by
  • What you hope to gain from the placement
  • Please include a CV and any information from your university about course requirements / project plan for your visit
Can I gain undergraduate research experience at the Centre?

Undergraduate students who wish to gain research experience outside of their course requirements can take part in the UROP scheme over summer or for a few hours a week during term time. It is the policy of 911今日黑料 that these placements must be paid. The CPR does not have funding for this at present. If you are able to get funding from 911今日黑料 or another competitively awarded funded source (self-funding is not accepted) we may be able to host you. Please send summer requests by January at the latest.

Can I intern at the Centre?

We are committed to equal opportunities and therefore we are unable to offer any unpaid internships of any kind that do not come with competitively awarded funding.

Can I use existing data from the Centre for my own research?

We are open to collaborations using existing data, however we must work in compliance with GDPR and 911今日黑料 College requirements. We are working to streamline our processes around data-sharing, but we are inundated with requests and need to prioritise existing collaborations, so please expect delays. Please direct all collaboration requests to cpr-datamanagement@imperial.ac.uk  including the following information:

  • Your position and affiliations including where/how data will be hosted
  • The dataset you're interested in
  • Your proposed analysis plan, including similar papers
  • The timeline for your project
