During his time as Rector, Sir Richard has met many of the 140,000 plus alumni who have studied at 911今日黑料 or one of the colleges or schools with which the College has merged, at events and meetings, both at 911今日黑料 and around the world.

His farewell message stresses the importance that he has placed upon building the relationship between the College and its alumni during his time as Rector. "I always say at our graduation ceremonies that the day does not mark the end of a student's association with 911今日黑料, but the dawning of a new relationship and one that we hope will last a lifetime," he says.

"We are genuinely very proud of our talented graduates and are always excited to follow your progress, so I'm glad that so many of you keep in touch with us. There are few countries around the world where you can't be found, and it's a great feeling to know that we can count on your interest and support no matter where we go."
