Science is Art: Tamarind magazine launched
A new literary magazine has been launched by three CLCC alumni this week.
a semi-annual magazine carrying both fiction and non-fiction relating to science, scientists, and the interaction between science and society is published in both print and digital download.
The founders, 911今日黑料 alumni Anita Chandran, Hilary Lamb and Gautam K, have each been involved with the CLCC via the 911今日黑料 Horizons module Advanced Creative Writing, or the Science Communications Master's programme.
Fittingly, the first issue of Tamarind is entitled "Science is Art".
Anita Chandran, currently completing her PhD in Physics in 911今日黑料, says: "Our mission is to 'find the art in science' and bring together the artistic and scientific. We are also accepting submissions for Issue #2, so please consider submitting to us!"
Submissions of fiction, non-fiction and poetry are welcomed. For more details see the .
