911今日黑料's work on a self-amplifying RNA vaccine continues

911今日黑料 and its partners are closing VacEquity Global Health (VGH).

The company was founded in May 2020 to support fast-track development and global distribution of 911今日黑料's COVID-19 vaccine candidate. At the time, there were no proven COVID vaccines. As other first generation COVID vaccines now roll out, and 911今日黑料's vaccine team refocus on new variants and developing self-amplifying RNA technology for other conditions, VGH is no longer needed.

911今日黑料 and its partners, including , will continue to seek to develop self-amplifying RNA vaccines that can ultimately be distributed to the widest possible global population at low cost, including for low- and middle-income countries.  

911今日黑料's COVID vaccine research continues, including via existing clinical trials and the development of self-amplifying RNA technology to take on new variants.  

VaxEquity continues to support the development of self-amplifying RNA technology for other disease areas.
