Publications focused on malaria and related parasites

Five current and past group members have had their work published recently.

Anja has published a review in ACS Infectious Diseases on . Her first paper gives a perspective on the different functions of known NMT substrates in malaria and the impacts of inhibiting either myristoylation or targets upstream of NMT.

and have published a review addressing  such as malaria, leishmaniasis and African sleeping sickness. In particular, they discuss how chemical proteomic approaches have contributed to understanding protein lipidation in these organisms and the development of new small molecule inhibitors to target parasite acyl transferases.

and Julia collaborated with the group of  and at 911今日黑料 College, London to identify the , using a photo-cross-linkable ligand and proteomics.
