Microsoft and Blackrock provided the funds for many, many pizzas, burgers, and much more! All very appreciated by the glorious geeks in attendance.

The Department of Computing Society (DoCSoc) organised 911今日黑料’s first student hackathon in 2012. Despite being confined to a corner of the Central Library overnight, it was immediately set in stone as a regular event. IC Hack has grown massively, and now hosts 160 hackers from across the College and beyond. The society makes its devices available to hackers, including Kinect, Oculus Rifts, Leap Motion, and more.

hackathon

IC Hack ‘16 had over 400 sign ups, so had to release tickets in batches on a first-come first-served basis. DoCSoc aim to build on the success this year, create more places for keen hackers, and grow IC Hack into a national event.
