A collaboration between CPE members and Professor Aram Amassian from King Adbullah University of Science and Technology generates a high profile publication in Advanced Materials.

The collective work from chemistry and physics members of the Centre for Plastic Electronics has been published on 20th April 2012 in advanced materials.

The paper entitled “Solution-Processed Small Molecule-Polymer Blend Organic Thin-Film Transistors with Hole Mobility Greater than 5 cm2/Vs” shows how novel composite materials can enhance the charge transport and enable the fabrication of organic transistors with record-breaking carrier mobility. This on-going fruitful collaboration will explore the design and process of new materials and blends further in the hopes to improve organic transistors properties. The full article can be found .
