MRes Neurotechnology

The Department of Bioengineering offers a one-year stand-alone MRes programme in Neurotechnology. The programme, which was originally developed from the training provided in first year of the CDT programme, prepares students for a research career in neurotechnology and gives them the knowledge and the skills to make their mark in this exciting field.

EPSRC CDT in Neurotechnology for Life & Health

Between 2014 and 2023, the Centre hosted the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Neurotechnology for Life and Health (the CDT). The CDT offered a unique Masters + PhD programme, training multidisciplinary researchers at the interface of neuroscience and engineering to address the challenge of brain-related illnesses. Although the CDT no longer admits students, the first year MRes training element of the programme is still offered as the one-year MRes in Neurotechnology.
