In 2014, Professor Dominique Haumont (Saint Pierre University, Brussels), established eNewborn to support benchmarking across Europe. Professor Modi (911今日黑料) subsequently joined her as a co-director. Professor Haumont has retired from clinical practice and eNewborn has moved to 911今日黑料 where Professor Modi manages it in conjunction with the UK National Neonatal Research Database. The original eNewborn benchmarking platform contained anonymised data on admissions to neonatal units, primarily but not exclusively across Europe. eNewborn is now being extended to provide support for a diverse range of activities to improve newborn care and outcomes globally (e.g. audit, surveillance, quality improvement, policy development and research), in addition to the original benchmarking functions.
