The Department is highly multi-disciplinary with an embedded science research core, linked to the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR 911今日黑料 BRC), designed to deliver translational and stratified medicine solutions across our many areas of activity. The Department uses an integrated approach to build an effective translational engine that integrates our research activities to optimally map on to healthcare delivery in the .
The strategy will be achieved through building close scientific collaborations through large grant proposals between Sections and Divisions – and more widely across the Faculty/College – linking where possible to our NIHR 911今日黑料 BRC themes on Gut Health, Metabolism & Endocrinology, Molecule Phenomics and Genetics & Genomics.
