This theme includes a large variety of examples, which are critical components in many different aspects of life, including cellular bioenergetics, transport and signalling processes, infection processes, cell motility and cellular defence mechanisms.

Our research groups use and develop a range of advanced structural and biophysical tools to gain insights into the structure and mechanism of these important proteins.
