Who is this course for?
Designed for those who have some basic knowledge of Portuguese equivalent to level A1 of the Common European Framework for Languages.
Course overview
Applicants should already be comfortable with basic greetings, introductions and simple present tense.
The course will adapt to participants' needs, with a balance of structured learning and conversational practice.
General topics covered:
- Describing places;
- Expressing preferences;
- Talking about your professional routine;
- Giving opinions;
- Introducing family and people close to you;
- Describing physical appearance, preferences, and habits;
- Possessives, invariable and variable demonstratives, preposition contractions, word order, quantifiers.
We will also look at different accents and dialectical differences found in Brazil, Portugal and other Portuguese-speaking countries.
