Who is this course for?

This course is designed for students who have completed Italian 1 (Beginners) at 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ College (40 hours) or who have an equivalent level of proficiency (A1.1).

Course overview

This consolidation course is designed to help you strengthen your grammatical understanding of Italian and enhance your oral communication skills, enabling you to progress to the next level of language proficiency with confidence.

Using scenarios drawn from real-life situations you will be encouraged to use Italian to ask for what you want, understand directions and instructions, talk about yourself and other people, and to express opinions and ideas.

Upon course completion, you will be ready to advance to our Italian 2 (Pre-Intermediate) course (40 hours) which is due to start in the autumn.
