Intelligent use of dataThis theme uses epidemiology, surveillance, bioinformatics and mathematical modelling to inform the fight against Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). Specific research includes the use of modelling methodologies to understand the emergence and spread of AMR at the population level and how the introduction of vaccination may affect the prevalence of AMR, and also, the use of highly specialised techniques such as mass spectrometry to identify bacteria at the strain level.
