The Principal Gifts team works with some of 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ’s most generous supporters, building close connections between donors and the university community, and helping our supporters find fulfilment in their giving.

We help supporters identify fundraising projects they wish to support at 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ, ensuring their gifts have maximum impact for both the donors and the university. Principal gifts are truly transformational through their scale and scope, enabling new work to be initiated or existing programmes to be expanded.

We ensure that our most generous donors are closely engaged with the life of 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ, both by cultivating relationships with donors who have supported 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ over a long period, and by starting the conversation with prospective donors. We work with alumni, trusts and foundations, and corporations.

Principal gifts have changed lives and altered the course of scientific research at 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ. Scholarship gifts enable young people to fulfil their academic and personal potential, while donations to research enable us to tackle some of the greatest challenges humanity is facing. 

We work across all four Faculties at 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ – Natural Sciences, Engineering, Business, and Medicine – and many of our benefactors choose to support cross-Faculty initiatives and programmes. We believe that supporting research and education philanthropically is one of the most worthwhile things that anyone can do, and we want to ensure donors have a rewarding experience supporting 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ.
