Whether you are aiming to secure a competitive role in the UK, pursue international opportunities, accelerate in your current organisation, or explore launching or growing a business, this session will help you understand how to prepare and how to use the School’s resources strategically.ÌýDuring this webinar, we will:

  • Outline key recruitment timelines, particularly in the UK graduate market, and explain how timing varies across sectors
  • Highlight the careers resources, digital tools, and tailored materials available to support your development
  • Explain the employer engagement opportunities on offerÌý
  • Show you the early actions you can take — such as completing the Careers Primer, refining your CV, and booking a 1:1 — to position yourself strongly from the outset
  • A live Q&A at the end will give you the opportunity to ask questions.

Practical Support: Build Your IB CV & Complete the Careers Primer

If you want to secure a competitive role, grow your business, progress in your current organisation, or explore international opportunities after your MSc, completing the Careers Primer is an important early step. The Primer includes activities to explore your skills and interests, set your career goals and put together a CV and Cover Letter in preparation for applying to your target employers.ÌýYou will gain the most from this workshop if you have already reviewed the Careers Primer materials and started your 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ CV beforehand.

  • AnÌýintroduction to the Careers Primer and how it can support your career development
  • AÌýwalkthrough of 911½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ CV requirements, so you understand what’s expected
  • Clear, practical guidance on how to craft a competitive CV, including how to structure content, highlight relevant experience, and tailor your application effectively
